The AI Tomorrow Summit London, held in partnership with the Turkish Embassy in London and AIPA, brought together leaders to discuss AI’s impact on media and other sectors. Ebubekir Şahin, Chairman of Türkiye’s Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), emphasized their aim to maximize the quality of public access to information while regulating AI’s effects on media.
Ethics and User Rights in Focus
Şahin underscored that AI mandates new ethical guidelines and user rights protections within the media. He highlighted Türkiye’s development of innovative AI solutions in media, citing RTÜK’s Digital Recording and Archiving System (SKAAS system), developed in partnership with TÜBİTAK Space, as a leading example.

Ambassador of Türkiye to London Osman Koray Ertaş remarked on AI’s rapid transformation in areas like healthcare and security, stressing the importance of ethics and social responsibility throughout this progress. AIPA President Zafer Küçükşabanoğlu also addressed AI’s potential in agriculture, energy, media, and education.

The summit’s opening session, “Future of Artificial Intelligence: Trends and Innovations,” included insights from experts like AIPA Deputy Secretary General Bahar Serçin Halefoğlu and Deloitte AI Director Lukas Kruger.
Navigating Ethics, Regulations, and Business Environments
The second session focused on ethical, regulatory, and business challenges in AI, featuring industry leaders such as AIPA Board Member Ulaş Mallı and BP’s Global Head of AI Uthman Ali. Discussions examined AI’s role in various sectors, including strategies for ethical AI integration.
AI and Media: Shaping the Future of Entertainment and News 
Moderated by CNBC-e London Representative Berfu Güven, the third session, “Artificial Intelligence and Media: The Future of Entertainment and News,” explored AI’s implications for media. Panelists included RTÜK Deputy Chair Deniz Güler, AIPA Media and Communications Commission Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Gül Ünlü, and Early Bird Venture Director Akash Bajwa.
